At Hotel Binod, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms applicable to cancellations, modifications, and refunds for all services offered by us.
1. Hotel Room Booking Cancellation
Standard Cancellation
- Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the check-in date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24-48 hours of check-in may incur a one-night retention charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in or no-shows are non-refundable.
Modification of Booking
- Date changes are subject to availability.
- Rate differences may apply during peak seasons or special events.
Early Departure
- No refund will be provided for unused nights after check-in.
2. Restaurant Reservation Cancellation
- Restaurant table reservations can be cancelled without charge if informed at least 4 hours prior to the booking time.
- For prepaid dining or group bookings, cancellation charges may apply depending on preparation arrangements.
3. Tent Stay Cancellation Policy
Due to advance preparation and operational arrangements:
- Cancellation 72 hours prior to arrival — Full refund.
- Cancellation within 48-72 hours — 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 48 hours or no-show — No refund.
Weather & Safety Conditions
Hotel Binod reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tent stays due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Government restrictions
In such cases, guests may choose:
- Rescheduling, or
- Full refund
4. Car Rental Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation made 24 hours before pickup time — Full refund.
- Cancellation within 12-24 hours — 50% cancellation charge.
- Cancellation within 12 hours or failure to use service — No refund.
Delays caused by traffic, weather, or external factors are not eligible for refund.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued through the original mode of payment whenever possible.
- Processing timelines may vary depending on banks or payment providers.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- No-show without prior notice
- Early check-out after stay commencement
- Violation of hotel policies leading to cancellation
- Incorrect booking dates provided by guest
7. Peak Season & Special Event Policy
During festivals, holidays, or peak tourist seasons, special cancellation terms may apply.
Guests will be informed at the time of booking.
8. Force Majeure
Hotel Binod shall not be held liable for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations
- Transportation disruptions
- Pandemic or public health emergencies
Refunds or rescheduling will be handled at management discretion.
